By “bad things” I mean dogs, sticks of dynamite, and even UFOs that will abduct and shakedown Nyan Cat for his treats. The little rainbow-trailing Pop Tart feline must leap from platform to delicious platform, gathering snacks and other assorted goodies while avoiding bad things or plummeting to certain doom. Nyan Cat: Lost in Space is an endless runner with a lateral scroll. Sure the music is catchy – I vote to make the orchestral version the official theme of the Internet - and the cartoon is cute, but haven’t we taken this far enough? Apparently not as there’s still more Nyan Cat making its way into virtually every form of media these days.
